LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for Feb. 25-Mar. 2

Jaden Nestor-Fox (Vermilion, Ohio/Vermilion HS) is the Lorain County Community College SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week after his scorching-hot performance at the plate and in the field during the Commodores opening day for baseball.

Nestor-Fox went 5-for-8 against the Community College of Allegheny County Wildcats.  After the Commodores lost the first game, Nestor-Fox broke a 6-6 tie in the bottom of the sixth with a runner on first base.  The sophomore infielder drove a fly ball to right field that was misplayed by the outfielder allowing a runner to score putting the Commodores in position to win the game.

Nestor-Fox also made a diving stop on a sharply hit ball up the middle in game one to end a scoring threat by the Wildcats.
