June 4, 2025 - - Despite being in the midst of their summer offseason, Lorain County Community College’s Esports program competed in the Central Ohio Smash Tournament held at the Game Arena in Columbus, Ohio, on May 31 and June 1, 2025. Four players represented the Commodores across multiple rounds of 1v1 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate action. The tournament featured a total of 110 competitors.
May 22, 2025 - - During the 2024–25 Lorain County Community College Esports season, the Commodores achieved numerous accolades, including strong finishes in the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE) playoffs and personal bests for competitors who strung together record-breaking win streaks.
May 22, 2025 - - Seven student-athletes were among those honored during Lorain County Community College’s 56th Honors and Awards Convocation on May 7.
April 25, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College Commodore Esports team concluded their Spring 2025 season on Friday, April 25, competing in the NJCAAE Tier 3 Super Smash Bros. Crew Battle Playoffs. Both LCCC squads battled but were ultimately eliminated in the first round of the single-elimination tournament.
