Leo Soneson (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of April 6–12, 2026. Soneson contributed on both the mound and at the plate during the week, recording two game-winning home runs and a save in LCCC’s games against Bryant & Stratton College and Kent State Tuscarawas.
SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week - March 23-29
Braden Reichert (North Ridgeville, Ohio/Avon HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of March 23-29, 2026. Reichert went 3-0 in completed races during the week, recording multiple wins over competitors from Finger Lakes Community College. His performance included a 4-3 victory in a closely contested matchup. With the results, Reichert improved his overall record to 18-6 on the season.
SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week - March 9-15, 2026
Tyler Misconish (Strongsville, Ohio/Strongsville HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of March 9-15, 2026. Misconish helped lead the LCCC Valorant team to an 8-0 record in Division III play during the week, remaining undefeated on the season. Serving as the team’s in-game leader, he guided the Commodores to two wins over Shelton State. In those matches, Misconish recorded a team-high 36 kills with 13 deaths and added nine assists across two rounds. LCCC secured victories by scores of 13-2 and 13-4.

Leo Soneson (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Mar. 1–8, 2026. He recorded a save in the Commodores’ first win of the season at ForeFront Field, closing out the victory against Miami Hamilton. The following day, Soneson pitched another scoreless inning at Miami Hamilton to help preserve the lead in LCCC’s second win of the series. Offensively, Soneson finished the four-game series with four hits while driving in two runs and scoring once for the Commodores.

Chloe Meng (Elyria, Ohio/First Baptist Christian HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 22-28, 2026. Meng earned the honor following her performance in LCCC’s Feb. 27 contest at Owens Community College. Starting and playing 35 minutes, she scored a team-high 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting from the field, including 4-of-9 from three-point range. She added two rebounds, three assists, and two steals while committing just two turnovers.

Austin Lukachko (North Ridgeville, Ohio/North Ridgeville HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 15-21, 2026.
SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week - Feb. 8-14
Dennis Pettis Jr. (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 8-14, 2026. Pettis averaged 24.0 points over three games while leading the Commodores in scoring during the week. He shot 28-of-61 (45.9 percent) from the field, including 6-of-14 from three-point range, and added 10 free throws. He opened the week with 28 points in a 93-83 win over Owens Community College on Feb. 9, shooting 11-of-21 from the field while adding nine rebounds, six assists, and six steals. On Feb. 11 at Owens, Pettis scored 27 points on 12-of-26 shooting to go along with eight rebounds and four assists. He closed the week with 17 points against Edison State on Feb. 14, adding six rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block.

Abbey Schmitz (Amherst, Ohio/Firelands HS) is the SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for February 1-8, 2026. The Commodores’ leading scorer had a record-setting week, averaging over 35 points over three games while leading LCCC to wins over Community Christian College and Clark State College. She opened the week with 33 points in an 84-50 win over Community Christian on Feb. 2, shooting 14-of-28 from the field while adding 12 rebounds and 12 assists to record her second triple-double of the season. She tied the program’s single-game record with eight steals (Danah Ewing, Feb. 2, 2022) and set a single-game record with 12 assists.

Ike Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 25-31, 2026. Rowser earned the honor following a standout performance in LCCC’s 123-107 victory over Hocking College on Jan. 31. Starting and playing 36 minutes, Rowser scored a game-high 41 points on 15-of-22 shooting from the field.

Abi Rhoades (Vermilion, Ohio/Vermilion HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 18–24, 2026. Rhoades earned the honor following her performance in Lorain County Community College’s Jan. 21 game at Terra State Community College. Starting and playing 25 minutes, she recorded three points, five rebounds, one assist, and one steal while competing on both ends of the floor.

Ike Rowser (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 11–17, 2026. Rowser earned the honor following his performance in Lorain County Community College’s 102–101 road win at Hocking College on Jan. 14. Playing 30 minutes, he scored 19 points on 7-of-20 shooting from the field, connecting on 5-of-15 attempts from three-point range.

Camrin Lowder (Vermilion, Ohio/Vermilion HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 4–10, 2026. Lowder earned the honor following a strong all-around performance for the Commodores in their Jan. 10 game at Edison State Community College. Playing 35 minutes, he scored 13 points on 4-of-9 shooting from the field and went 5-of-10 from the free-throw line.

Cole Hecei (Avon Lake, Ohio/Avon Lake HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 28–Jan. 3, 2025. Hecei earned the honor following his performance against Butler County Community College (PA) on January 3. In seven minutes of action, he scored five points on 2-of-3 shooting from the field, including 1-of-2 from three-point range, his first three pointer of his career with the Commodores.

Jayveon Roe (Euclid, Ohio/Villa Angela-St. Joseph HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 21–27, 2025. Roe earned the honor following his performance against Pennsylvania Highlands Community College on December 22. In 22 minutes of action, he scored 24 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the field and went 2-of-2 from the free-throw line.
