On Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the Lorain County Community College Commencement Ceremony, 11 student-athletes walked after earning their degrees in various programs and disciplines, celebrated by friends and family.
June 10, 2025 - - Three student-athletes—Madison Rowland, Jadyn Whitehouse, and Brooklyn Jan—have officially signed their Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers with the Lorain County Community College softball program next spring. Each brings a unique story of perseverance, leadership, and passion for the game. From setting records and earning all-state honors to overcoming personal challenges and making the most of every opportunity, these players represent the heart and grit of what it means to be a Commodore.
June 4, 2025 - - Despite being in the midst of their summer offseason, Lorain County Community College’s Esports program competed in the Central Ohio Smash Tournament held at the Game Arena in Columbus, Ohio, on May 31 and June 1, 2025. Four players represented the Commodores across multiple rounds of 1v1 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate action. The tournament featured a total of 110 competitors.
May 22, 2025 - - During the 2024–25 Lorain County Community College Esports season, the Commodores achieved numerous accolades, including strong finishes in the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE) playoffs and personal bests for competitors who strung together record-breaking win streaks.
