May 29, 2026 - - Three members of the Lorain County Community College baseball team were recognized by the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference after being named to the OCCAC Division III All-Conference Team this week. The trio helped lead LCCC to the most wins in program history since joining the NJCAA ranks. Their selections also marked the most All-OCCAC honorees in a single season in school history as an NJCAA program.

May 26, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College women’s basketball team will host open gyms throughout the summer for full-time students interested in joining the Commodores for the 2026-27 season. Open gyms will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays inside the Ewing Activities Center Gymnasium on LCCC’s Elyria Campus from 6–8 p.m. and will continue throughout the summer.
May 26, 2026 - - The Spring 2026 season proved to be one of the most successful campaigns in recent memory for the Lorain County Community College esports program, as the Commodores produced national tournament appearances, multiple top-eight finishes, and a runner-up finish in NJCAAE Division III Valorant competition.

Leo Soneson (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of April 6–12, 2026. Soneson contributed on both the mound and at the plate during the week, recording two game-winning home runs and a save in LCCC’s games against Bryant & Stratton College and Kent State Tuscarawas.
