September 5, 2024 - - On August 31, 2024, the Lorain County Community College club soccer teams traveled to Terra State Community College for a rematch of the season opener held on August 24, 2024. And similar to opening day, the women prevailed 3-1 while the men lost 6-1.
August 24, 2024 - - Soccer season began Saturday morning at Lorain County Community College as the women’s club soccer team opened with a 4-0 win against Terra State Community College while the men lost 4-1 in the afternoon tilt.

Dennis Pettis Jr. (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) is the Lorain County Community College SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 3-9 after the freshman averaged 18 points per game and shot over 40% from the field in two contests.Pettis Jr. scored 14 against the Community College of Allegheny County on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, with three rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Four days later, on Saturday, November 9 against No. 7 DIII Sandhills Community College, he scored 22 points and had six rebounds, four blocks, and three steals. In five games this season, Pettis Jr. is averaging 15 points per game, 3.2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2.5 steals.
