Ewing Activities Center Gymnasium

Loud and intimate. Passionate fans screaming and skilled athletes doing what they do best.  The Ewing Activities Center Gymnasium provides players and fans a unique setting for basketball and volleyball contests as this 386-seat gymnasium is the crown jewel of the LCCC’s athletic department.  With banners displaying championship accomplishments on the walls, two scoreboards, and a recently redesigned floor (2021), Ewing’s gymnasium is the quintessential small school setting for college basketball and volleyball.

Basketball games in the past have featured live bands for entertainment, halftime acts, and ceremonies honoring athletes and coaches. 

#CommodoreEsports Practice Facility

The #CommodoreEsports Practice Facility, located in the Campana Center for Ideation and Invention, is the nerve center of the #CommodoreEsports program at Lorain County Community College.  Equipped with 20 gaming stations (10 Nintendo Switch and 10 PCs) and a live streaming production studio, this new facility opened its doors in 2024.

LCCC Fitness Center

LCCC features an indoor fitness center that all athletes can utilize to bulk up for the season. 

LCCC Soccer Field

Our regulation sized soccer field with ample space provides fans and spectators room all around the pitch to get the best view on match day.

Cross Country Course

The 5k course on LCCC’s campus has been home of the cross country team since 1967.  It has hosted middle, high school, and college races, including the OHSAA Districts meet. 

Ewing Activities Center Fieldhouse

The Ewing Fieldhouse, located adjacent to the Ewing Activities Center, is the main practice facility for nearly all of LCCC’s athletics. Not only does this enormous space keep LCCC athletics like baseball and softball going year round but is also the home of LCCC’s Commencement ceremony held in the spring.
