May 26, 2026 - - The Spring 2026 season proved to be one of the most successful campaigns in recent memory for the Lorain County Community College esports program, as the Commodores produced national tournament appearances, multiple top-eight finishes, and a runner-up finish in NJCAAE Division III Valorant competition.

May 6, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College baseball team concluded its 2026 season Wednesday at the NJCAA Region 12 Division III Tournament at Sports Force Parks in Sandusky, Ohio.  The Commodores opened postseason play against Terra State Community College, losing 12-4, before facing Owens Community College in an elimination game later in the day, falling 10-3.

May 3, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College baseball team split a four-game series with Hocking College over the weekend, showcasing both offensive firepower and late-game resilience. The Commodores battled through a pair of early setbacks before responding with back-to-back victories, including a walk-off win and a strong complete-game performance on the mound by Jackson Frame (Newcastle, Australia/Callaghan College) to close out the series and secure the split.

April 23, 2026 – The Lorain County Community College baseball team dropped both ends of a midweek doubleheader against Cuyahoga Community College on April 21. The Commodores built early leads in both contests, but a pivotal third inning in game one and a late offensive surge in game two allowed the Triceratops to pull away for the sweep.

April 19, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College baseball team went 1-3 against Owens Community College over the weekend, dropping a pair of close contests on Friday before splitting Sunday’s doubleheader.  The Commodores (11-19) held leads in all four games but were unable to hold on in three, as Owens used late rallies to secure wins—including a comeback in the series finale that extended into extra innings.

April 12, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College baseball team swept a doubleheader against Kent State Tuscarawas at The Pipe Yard, using a dramatic comeback in game one and a steady all-around performance in game two.  The Commodores erased a six-run deficit in the opener, highlighted by a walk-off home run from Leo Soneson (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood HS), and carried that momentum into the second game to complete the sweep.  With the victories, LCCC surpassed last season’s win total and reached double-digit wins for the first time since 2019.

April 12, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College Esports program opened NJCAAE Division III postseason competition during the week of April 6–10, highlighted by a deep tournament run from Austin Lukachko and continued team success in Valorant.  The Commodores competed across multiple playoff brackets, with several advancing into late-round matchups and championship contention.

April 8, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College baseball team split a doubleheader at Bryant & Stratton College Wednesday afternoon.  The Commodores dropped the opener in five innings but responded in game two with a strong all-around performance, highlighted by a complete game from Dylan Coughlin (Amherst, Ohio/Marion L. Steele HS) and a go-ahead three-run home run from Leo Soneson (Lakewood, Ohio/Lakewood HS).

April 5, 2026 - - The Lorain County Community College Esports program wrapped up another week of NJCAAE spring competition with strong performances across multiple titles during the week of March 30–April 3, 2026. The Commodores were highlighted by continued success in Mario Kart, a dominant finish to the Valorant regular season, and a pair of wins in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Crew Battle play as Division III teams continued Opt-In Qualifier competition.
