April 10, 2025 - - Lorain County Community College sophomore Ally Winnen (Lorain, Ohio/Elyria Catholic HS) has been named to the NJCAA Division III Women’s Basketball All-American Second Team following one of the most dominant seasons in program history.
Four Commodores Earn All-OCCAC and Region 12 Honors

March 21, 2025 - - Four players from the Lorain County Community College basketball teams—Ally Winnen, Abigail Schmitz, Deonte Benejan, and Dennis Pettis Jr.—earned All-Conference honors from the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) and All-Region honors from the NJCAA. Winnen was named Player of the Year in the OCCAC after her record-breaking sophomore season with the Commodores.
Express Hold Off Commodores to Capture NJCAA DIII Mid Atlantic District Championship

Across the two games, Schmitz averaged 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game while demonstrating composure in high-pressure situations.
