SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for Oct. 12-18

Gabriella Habeck (Huron, Ohio/Edison HS) is the LCCC SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of October 12–18, 2025.

The sophomore outside hitter earned Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) Player of the Week honors after leading the Commodores to two wins over Terra State and Clark State. The recognition marks her first of the season and the third of her career.

Across eight sets, Habeck totaled 38 kills, six service aces, and hit an impressive .371. She tallied 19 kills on just 34 attempts (.471) with two aces and eight digs against Terra State, then followed with another 19 kills, nine digs, and two aces versus Clark State.

Habeck continues to lead LCCC in kills and kills per set while ranking among the OCCAC’s top hitters — third in total kills (200), third in kills per set (3.85), and sixth in hitting percentage (.225).
