Bio

Hawk has served as the Head Athletic Trainer at Lorain County Community College since 2021, bringing over a decade of diverse experience in athletic training, injury prevention, and sports rehabilitation. She is dedicated to keeping athletes healthy, performing at their best, and safely returning to play after injury.

She recieved her Doctorate of Athletic Training at Ohio University in May of 2025. She holds a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Indiana Wesleyan University (2017), an Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy from Owens Community College (2015), and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University (2013).

Her athletic training career spans a wide range of athletic settings, from collegiate and high school athletics to professional sports and entertainment. Since 2021, she has served as Head Athletic Trainer for both the Lake Erie Crushers of independent professional baseball. She previously worked with men’s and women’s basketball at Copper Mountain Community College, handled athletic training duties at the University of La Verne, Arrowhead Christian Academy, and provided medical coverage for organizations such as the Toledo Walleye (ECHL hockey), Ontario Fury (MASL soccer), Marvel/Feld Entertainment, and the Legends Football League.

In addition to her athletic training background, Hawk has experience in massage therapy and chiropractic wellness, enhancing her ability to provide comprehensive care. She is certified by the Board of Certification, licensed by the Ohio OTPTAT Board, and holds credentials in CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and Emergency Response.

Beyond her professional roles, Hawk is an active community leader, having served as a Girl Scout Troop Leader, member of the Copper Mountain College Foundation Board, and volunteer for athletic booster and fundraising initiatives. She is a recipient of the Girl Scout Gold Award, was awarded the BGSU Founders Scholarship, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Owens Community College.
