Seth Anderson serves as the Assistant Baseball Coach for the Lorain County Community College Commodores, where he works primarily with the team’s catchers and assists as a pitching coach. On game days, Anderson handles first base coaching duties, oversees defensive alignments, assists with pitcher and catcher management, and tracks in-game metrics such as times and defensive adjustments.

Anderson brings extensive coaching experience to LCCC, most recently serving as the Head Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach at North Ridgeville High School. There, he helped lead the team to an SWC Conference Championship by implementing data-driven training programs, guiding in-game adjustments, and mentoring athletes through both competition and the college recruiting process. His leadership elevated multiple athletes to the collegiate level while fostering a team culture of accountability and growth.

In addition to his high school coaching, Anderson plays a major role in travel baseball as Director of Baseball Operations and Assistant Coach with Force Ohio Baseball. In these roles, he has overseen recruitment and player development, built scouting systems to identify talent, and coordinated communication between players, families, and coaches. His leadership has contributed to the advancement of more than 20 players into collegiate baseball, solidifying his reputation as a strong recruiter and developer of talent.

Anderson’s coaching career also includes experience with Westlake High School, where he served as an assistant varsity coach, and North Ridgeville High School, where he first began as a volunteer assistant before advancing into leadership roles. His consistent success in enhancing player performance and building programs demonstrates his adaptability and commitment to advancing the game at all levels.

A graduate of Otterbein University where he played on the baseball team for two years, Anderson earned a degree in Criminology and a minor in Sociology.  Anderson continued his education at Muskingum University, earning a Master of Arts in Intervention Specialist – Mild to Moderate. A former North Ridgeville High School student-athlete himself, he has returned to his roots to impact the next generation of players. With certifications in concussion safety, first aid, CPR, and fundamentals of coaching, Anderson brings both knowledge and passion to his role, making him a valuable asset to the Commodores baseball program.
