"We got the monkey off our back," Head Coach Marty Eggleston stated, referring to the two recent consecutive losses to Tri-C (ranked #1 in NJCAA D-II) and a strong Wayne County (MI) CC NJCAA D-II team. "Our defense triggered our offense tonight. It was a back and forth game against a very good opponent," Eggleston added.
Sinclair is now 1-4 in the OCCAC and 9-8 overall. LCCC improves to 4-1 in league play and 13-2 overall. The Commodores will host Columbus State on Wednesday night, January 17, at 7:30 p.m.
