DII Lakeland CC Tops LCCC in OCCAC Men’s Basketball

January 17, 2020 - - The LCCC's Men's Basketball Team once again had to face off against a conference-leader in OCCAC play as they took on the Division II Lakeland Community College Lakers. The Lakers put up some big numbers, winning 117-81 and improving their conference record to 4-0. LCCC drops to 0-3 in the OCCAC and 3-13 overall for the season.

Jaylen Jenkins (Willoughby/Willoughby South) led the Commodore effort with 19 points and dished out seven assists on the night. Derek Yahnke (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) had a team-high 21 points, while De'Miko Nelson (Cincinnati/DePaul Cristo Rey) contributed 16 points.

The Commodores host Division II Clark State Community College for their next OCCAC contest at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020.
