Men’s Basketball Team Drops Game to OCCAC Leaders

January 11, 2020 - - LCCC's Men's Basketball Team had their hands full with the top team in the OCCAC Conference, as they lost 103-71 to Columbus State Community College on the road. The Commodores fall to 3-12 on the season with the loss and 0-2 in the OCCAC. The Cougars improve to 10-4 and 3-0.

Jacob Marsh (Elyria) led Lorain with a team-high 15 points, five steals, and three assists, while Derek Yahnke (Hilliard/Hilliard Bradley) recorded his second double-double of the season, scoring 13 points and pulling in 11 rebounds. Alex Wyatt contributed 14 points and De'Miko Nelson (Cincinnati/DePaul Cristo Rey) added 11.

The Commodores head to Division II Lakeland Community College this Wednesday, January 15, 2020, for their next OCCAC contest. Tipoff is at 7:30 PM.
