Assistant Coach Norm Frindt Inducted Into Lorain County Softball Hall

Lorain County Community College's Norm Frindt was inducted to the Lorain County Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame last week for his exemplary career in the sport of softball as a head coach. 

Frindt joined the LCCC softball staff in 2022 after three decades at North Ridgeville High School where he compiled 469 wins as head coach of the Rangers.

Following his long tenure at North Ridgeville, he served as assistant coach to current LCCC Head Coach Bill Matthews for three seasons at Vermilion High School in 2017 to 2019.

With Last week's honor, Frindt is now a member of four Hall Of Fames.  He was elected into the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2012, is in the Avon Lake Athletic Hall of Fame for basketball, and also the North Ridgeville Athletic Hall of Fame for softball.
