September 12, 2023 - - The Lorain County Community College women's club soccer team lost to Lakeland Community College on Monday evening, 6-0.

The Commodores were looking to get a little revenge on the Lakers after losing to them in their first match of the season.  In the first meeting, LCCC led at halftime, 2-1, but couldn't sustain the momentum in the second half and ended up losing 5-2.

This go around wouldn't be as close as Lakeland dominated from start to finish, leading after the first half 4-0.  Abbey Schmitz (South Amherst, Ohio/Firelands HS) had seven saves for the Commodores.
