Women’s Club Soccer Picks Up First Win of 2023; Men Fall to Bryant & Stratton

October 4, 2023 - - The Lorain County Community College men's and women's club soccer teams competed last week with the women's team picking up their first victory of the season thanks to a 4-1 win against Walsh University's JV squad last Monday while the men fell to Bryant & Stratton College on Saturday, 9-1.

Scoring for the women's team against Walsh were Joy Nickel (Bay Village, Ohio/Bay HS) who had two goals for the Commodores, Jaileena Trimble (Amherst, Ohio/Firelands HS) and Sarah Ladikos (North Ridgeville, Ohio/North Ridgeville HS) each had one goal.

Scoring for the men's team against Bryant & Stratton was Brock Grude (Amherst, Ohio/Firelands HS).

The Commodores continue their seasons this Wednesday with match ups against Jamestown Community College on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at the LCCC Soccer Field.  The women's squad gets started at 3 p.m. and the men follow immediately after at 5 p.m.
