Recap

Playing without outside hitter Abbey Williams (North Ridgeville, Ohio/First Baptist Christian School) and reigning Ohio Community College Athletic Conference Libero of the Year Izabel Gallardo-Santo Domingo, LCCC (6-8, 5-4) used Bunevich in place of Gallardo-Santo Domingo at libero, Barrison at outside hitter, and Jordan Rodriguez (Lorain, Ohio/Clearview HS) on the back line.

Set one saw the Commodores score the first four points to take an early lead only to let Terra State (2-11, 1-6) climb back in to take a 10-9 advantage.  After LCCC regained the lead at 14-13, Riley found Zocchi for a kill to extend the lead and then Bunevich connected for an ace to put the Commodores up 17-13 and force Terra into a timeout. Zocchi and Todd landed kills after the timeout and Vidovich got a service ace to extend the lead to eight.  LCCC won the first set 25-16.

Terra opened the scoring with a point to start set two, but that would be the last time they led as LCCC ballooned their lead up to 14-6 before Terra called a timeout. From there, the Commodores stayed on the attack punctuated by Filice's kill to give LCCC the win, 25-16.

The Commodores faced some adversity in the third set, falling behind the Titans 3-0 to start.  However, Filice got LCCC on the board with a kill, Zocchi followed with one of her own, and Todd blocked a Titan attack to tie the set, 3-3.  LCCC took the lead at 5-4 and never looked back as the Commodores cruised to victory, 25-16.
