SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for Mar. 23-29

Jackson Frame has been named the Lorain County Community College SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for his standout performances at the plate during a competitive stretch of games from March 23 through March 29.

Frame brought consistent energy and production to the Commodores’ offense, collecting 7 hits, scoring 5 runs, and driving in 8 RBIs over six games. His bat came alive during the March 29 doubleheader against Community Christian (Mich.), where he delivered his best back-to-back performances of the season. In Game 1, Frame went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, 2 runs scored, and 4 RBIs. He followed it up in Game 2 by going a perfect 3-for-3 with another home run, another double, 2 more runs scored, and 5 more RBIs, helping lead the Commodores to a dominant 17-8 victory.

For the week, Frame totaled 18 at-bats with 7 hits, including 2 doubles and 2 home runs. He drove in 8 runs, scored 5 times, walked once, and struck out 3 times.

His clutch hitting and power display have proven vital in anchoring the lineup and sparking the offense, showing great promise as the Commodores move into the heart of their schedule.
