SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for Nov. 24-30

Abigail Schmitz (Amherst, Ohio/Firelands HS) is the Lorain County Community College SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 24-30, 2024.

Schmitz had back-to-back double digit scoring games for the Commodores, first scoring 15 points on 7-for-11 shooting against Wheeling University’s JV team on Sunday, Nov. 24, and then scored 17 against Schoolcraft College two days later on Nov. 26. Against the Ocelots, she scored 10 points from the free throw line.

Schmitz is third in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference in scoring per game with 16.8 points per game.
