SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for Dec. 22-28

Toriano Goodwin (Lorain, Ohio/Clearview HS) has been named the Lorain County Community College SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 22-28, 2024.

Goodwin delivered an impressive performance for the Commodores off the bench against Kent State Tuscarawas on December 27, 2024. He scored 12 points, shooting 5-for-10 from the field and 2-for-3 from the free-throw line. In addition to his scoring, Goodwin contributed 3 rebounds, 2 blocks, 2 assists, and 1 steal in the contest, despite the team’s loss to the Golden Eagles.

This season, Goodwin has also made his presence felt defensively, ranking 16th in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) with 7 blocks.
