SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for Jan. 19-25

Chloe Meng (Elyria, Ohio/First Baptist Christian) is the Lorain County Community College SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for the week of January 19-25, 2025.

Meng delivered the decisive play in the Commodores' thrilling 70-68 victory over the Clark State College Eagles on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Following a timeout, teammate Abigail Schmitz executed a perfect inbounds pass from the baseline, finding a wide-open Meng who drained the go-ahead three-pointer with just eight seconds left on the clock, securing the win for LCCC.

Earlier in the week, Meng also impressed during the game against Kent State Tuscarawas. She contributed 15 points, shooting 6-for-14 from the field (3-for-9 from beyond the arc) while adding four rebounds, four assists, and two steals to her stat line.
