SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week for Feb. 2-8

Ally Winnen (Lorain, Ohio/Elyria Catholic HS) has been named the Lorain County Community College SUBWAY MARKETPLACE Athlete of the Week after delivering record-breaking performances in back-to-back games against Bryant & Stratton College and Clark State College. She cemented her name in Commodore history on Wednesday against Bryant & Stratton College, pulling down her 344th rebound of the season to set a new LCCC single-season rebounding record. She followed that historic milestone with another incredible feat three days later, scoring her 507th point of the year to set the LCCC single-season scoring record. She currently leads the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) in an impressive 11 different statistical categories, including points per game and rebounds per game.
