Nestor-Fox Makes NJCAA Region 12 All-Tournament Team

May 20, 2024 - - Although the Lorain County Community College baseball season ended this month in the National Junior College Athletic Association DIII Region 12 Tournament at Sports Force Parks in Sandusky, Ohio, one Commodore earned recognition with a spot on the Region 12 DIII All-Tournament team.

Jaden Nestor-Fox (Vermilion, Ohio/Vermilion HS) was the jump starter for the Commodore offense this season with a .470 batting average and a .563 on-base percentage both of which ranked second in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference. He began the season with 17-game streak of reaching base via hit or walk.  Nestor-Fox also had top-ten rankings in Hits (6^th), Triples (9^th), Walks (8^th), assists (2^nd), and double plays (2^nd).

In two games in the Region 12 tournament, he combined for five hits in seven plate appearances, scored three runs and drove in a pair.
