Recap
After a 50 minute delay, the contest started with the Commodores jumping out to an early lead and maintained that advantage throughout the entire first half. LCCC's largest lead of the half was 9 points with just over 15 minutes remaining. Deonte Benejan dropped 12 first half points while Tavion Pride scored 8 but got into foul trouble, picking up his third foul late in the half.
Trailing 35-33 at the half, the Lions took the lead with a three pointer in their first possession after getting two offensive rebounds. Both teams traded leads until Community Christian took the lead for good at the 10:26 mark. The Lions would go on to win, 78-66.
