Things looked bleak early on as the Commodores found themselves down 10 points in the first couple minutes before they even put up a point. Luckily LCCC had Deonte Benejan to lean on as the freshman scored 22 first half points to keep LCCC in the contest and cut the deficit down to one with just over six minutes left in the first half.
Terra State began to pull away in the final minutes of the opening half taking 47-40 lead into the half. That lead extended through the second half as Terra State built their last lead of the game at 21.
