December 29, 2024 - - The Lorain County Community College Men's Basketball team lost on the road to Kent State University Tuscarawas Friday afternoon, 112-71.
Three Commodores scored in double figures: Deonte Benejan (Queens, N.Y./Lorain HS) led the team with 16 points. Dejahn Smith (Cleveland, Ohio/Rhodes College) came one rebound shy of his second double-double of the season, contributing 12 points and 9 rebounds—all of which he scored in the second half. Toriano Goodwin (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain HS) added 12 points, along with two blocks and two assists.
