LCCC Falls On The Road To Edison In Regular Season Finale

February 16, 2025 - - The Lorain County Community College men's basketball team struggled offensively in a tough road loss to Edison State Community College, falling 105-53 in Piqua, Ohio.

Julius Moon (Lorain, Ohio/Open Door Christian HS) led LCCC with 19 points, knocking down five three-pointers. Anthony Atkins (Cleveland, Ohio/Valley Forge HS) added 15 points, with nine coming from beyond the arc.

Rashaud Finley (Cleveland, Ohio/Bard HS) contributed six points, grabbed a team-high seven rebounds, and tied for the team lead in assists with four.

Next Up:

The Commodores head into postseason play this Wednesday, February 19, 2025, against Owens Community College in the NJCAA Region 12 DIII Championship. The game will take place at Owens in Perrysburg, Ohio and begins at 5 p.m.
